Ces bateaux  n&#8217;avaient que deux m\u00e2ts : un principal muni de voiles haut plac\u00e9es et un  m\u00e2t d&#8217;artimon. Au lieu d&#8217;un m\u00e2t de misaine, ils poss\u00e9daient une  plate-forme abritant un ou deux mortiers.
